I started playing the clarinet at the age of 11, later on also alto sax.

Playing in Big Bands, youth orchestras and in small local shows I got infected by the music virus.

I absolutely enjoy eating fresh fruits.

I got my Masters at the Bern University of the Arts,

followed by studies with the fantastic clarinetist Antony Pay at the

Accademia Internazionale di Musica in Biella (Italy), obtaining my soloist diploma with distinction.

Besides teaching at different music schools in Switzerland I played as a freelancer for the Bern City Theatre.

Moving from classical music to more jazzy vibes.

Some Like It Hot, Tom Wait's Woyzeck, Murder Ballads by Nick Cave, Alice in Wonderland and many more

I love swimming in the river in front of my house.

I do play all the clarinets from the contrabass up to the "normal" clarinet.

... and e-bass.

Constantly looking for new ways to express my musical ideas and to get better

I attended several courses at Berklee School of Music

Jazz Theory, Harmony & Ear Training and Film Scoring

I love riding my motorbike

Actually I'm playing in three bands.

Besides my musical activities I have a Master in Computer Sciences.

Which comes very handy, as the music business requires more and more technical skills.

I love cooking and eating!

My gear in my home studio: iMac, Logic X Pro, UAD Apollo x6, PSIAudio A14 Speakers

I mostly use Spitfire Audio libraries and FabFilter plugin-ins.
